A strong overall squad was taken to Hungary this year, the standard was even higher than normal and it tested every fighter to the limits! Our guys did excellent and did us and themselves very proud. Each fighter only went out to an eventual finalist and in all cases apart from one their opponent won the World title.

Leif makes the grade!
Young Leif Taggart has been scouted by Cris Janson-Piers for the Forthcoming WAKO Championships in Portugal after Cris has seen him on many occasions throughout the last year.
"After beating one of my own top fighters and many more this year, Lief has more than proved to me that he has what it takes to be a WAKO squad member." Said Cris.
He has a great attitude and knows this will be a tough competition, where some of the top fighters from the World will gather. However unfased he prepares for battle, good luck to Leif and the rest of the Cadet squad.
